Join the Downey Agency, a reputable insurance agency that is now hiring a personal lines property and casualty insurance salesperson.

As an insurance agent, you will help grow our agency one customer relationship at a time. You will be responsible for generating leads, building relationships with potential clients, and guiding them through the insurance purchasing process. We are seeking someone who is positive, inviting, and motivated to exceed sales targets.

If you sell an average of 40 items per month (autos, homes, renters, PUPs, etc) you would make an average of about $80K/year in salary plus commissions, before including bonuses and benefits. If you average selling 30+ items a month over a quarter, you will be eligible to work from home as long as you maintain that level of productivity.

Century Club (100 items/month) salespersons would earn an average of $205K/yr, in addition to bonuses and benefits.

Salary Range: $33900.00 - $205200.00 per year

Responsibilities

• Generate leads and actively prospect potential clients in Central Pennsylvania and surrounding areas.
• Build strong relationships with clients by understanding their insurance needs and offering personalized solutions.
• Provide exceptional customer service by promptly responding to inquiries and resolving any concerns.
• Effectively communicate the value of our insurance products and services to potential clients and guide them through the purchasing process.
• Meet or exceed sales targets by closing deals and maintaining a high conversion rate.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and effectively present information.
• Self-motivated and driven to achieve sales goals.
• Proficiency in using sales and CRM software to manage leads and track progress.
