Responsibilities
- Proactively generate new business through outbound prospecting, referrals, networking, community involvement, and agency-provided leads.
- Guide clients through the entire sales processfrom the initial conversation to quoting, presenting customized coverage solutions, and confidently closing the sale.
- Build strong, lasting relationships by identifying each client's unique insurance needs and recommending personalized protection strategies.
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales and new business production goals through effective pipeline management and follow-up.
- Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline by cultivating referral partners and creating opportunities for continued business growth.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by educating clients on coverage options and providing a professional, consultative sales experience.
- Ensure all policies, applications, and client interactions comply with underwriting guidelines, carrier requirements, and applicable regulations.
- Stay knowledgeable on insurance products, industry trends, and agency initiatives to provide clients with informed recommendations.
Requirements
Active Texas Property & Casualty insurance license required.
- Previous insurance sales experience is preferred; experience in a goal-oriented sales environment is a plus.
- Confident initiating conversations through outbound prospecting, networking, and relationship-building activities.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and consultative sales skills with the ability to build trust and connect with clients.
- Self-motivated, organized, and driven to achieve individual and team goals.
- Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Coachable, adaptable, and eager to learn and grow within a high-performing agency.
- Must be able to reliably work in or commute to the Garland, Texas area.
