Insurance Sales Rep

At Plageman Agency Inc., youll sell insurance the way we believe it should be sold: by asking good questions, understanding the clients needs, and recommending coverage you can stand behind.

As an Insurance Sales Rep, youll focus heavily on small business insurance, building your own pipeline through networking, referrals, social media, and relationships with lenders, attorneys, business brokers, realtors, and financial planners. Plageman Agency serves individuals, families, small businesses, and especially LGBTQ clients and LGBTQ-owned businesses. Youll also look across all lines of insurance for ways to better protect existing clients. The work is personal, practical, and centered on long-term relationships rather than chasing the lowest price.

Youll be part of a small, growing agency known for outstanding sales and service and annual life insurance recognition. We take our work seriously, support each other, and expect people to own their results. Youll also have hands-on training, mentorship, licensing assistance, PTO, health, dental, and vision insurance, and a 401(k) plan.

The base salary ranges from $30,000 to $52,000, depending on experience. Theres room to grow into a sales line leadership role, with a longer-term path toward agency startup or ownership.
