Insurance Sales Representative Responsibilities
- Write new business applications
- Cross-sell existing customers
- Comply with underwriting guidelines, required customer documents and office procedures
- Participate in community events, as necessary
- Prospect, build and manage a pipeline, conduct needs analysis, develop solutions and write proposals.
Insurance Sales Representative Requirements
- P&C Insurance License required
- The ability to conduct needs-based selling,
- A track record of success in consultative, solutions-oriented sales experience in the insurance industry.
- Presenting proposals and closing deals
- The ability to increase sales in a competitive marketplace
- Strong self-motivation, goal-orientation and a high-energy, positive approach
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- The ability to multi-task and handle pressure
- A goal-oriented mindset
- A team-player approach and a can-do attitude
Job Type: Full-time
Expected Annual Earnings: $50,000 - $90,000+, including base salary, commissions, and bonuses. Actual compensation varies based on experience, licensing, performance, and attainment of sales goals.
