The Insurance Sales Representative will pursue and respond to the requests and needs of prospects and current clients who need insurance. As our new Insurance Sales Representative you will be trained to act as a consultant for families, evaluating needs and recommending the most appropriate means of meeting those needs.

Responsibilities
- Generate new business through referrals, networking, cold calling, and community involvement
- Quote and sell personal and commercial insurance products
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Review customer coverage needs and recommend appropriate insurance solutions
- Follow up on leads, renewals, and cross-selling opportunities
- Maintain accurate customer records and policy documentation
- Assist clients with policy changes, billing questions, and claims support
- Meet sales goals and agency production requirements
- Stay current on insurance products, carrier guidelines, and licensing requirements
- Provide professional and timely customer service
- Work with underwriters and carriers to place business effectively
- Help retain existing clients through annual policy reviews and proactive communication
- Maintain compliance with all state insurance regulations and agency procedures
Requirements
- Previous sales experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to build relationships and work independently
- Must obtain and maintain appropriate insurance licensing, or already possess an active insurance license
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Basic computer and organizational skills
- Ability to meet sales goals and deadlines
- Reliable transportation and valid drivers license preferred
