Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated person to join our team. As an Insurance Sales Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and selling various insurance policies to clients. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are passionate about sales and wither have a strong understanding of insurance products or willing to learn the industry.

This is an in-office position working weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. Please only apply if you are able to make the commute to our agency office in Tonawanda, NY.


Duties:

  • Communicate with clients to understand their insurance needs and provide appropriate solutions
  • Sell insurance policies such as auto, home, life, and health insurance
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and recommend suitable coverage options
  • Assist clients with claims processing and provide support throughout the claims settlement process
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and changes in insurance regulations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with underwriters, adjusters, and other professionals to deliver comprehensive insurance services
  • Utilize various sales techniques, including telemarketing and outside sales, to generate leads and acquire new clients
  • Negotiate policy terms and conditions to meet the needs of clients
  • Provide accurate and detailed information about insurance policies, coverage limits, deductibles, and premiums
  • Complete sales administration tasks such as preparing quotes, processing applications, and maintaining client records

  • Base Salary $48,000 - $60,0000 depending on licensing and experience

Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Bilingual proficiency in [languages] is a plus
  • Strong sales skills with a proven track record in retail sales or telemarketing
  • Knowledge of benefits administration and HIPAA regulations is preferred
  • Ability to negotiate effectively to meet client needs
  • Multilingual abilities are highly desirable for serving diverse client populations
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Proficient in using computer systems and software applications for sales administration


Recommended:

  • Fully licensed in P&C and Life & Health; but not required
