Seeking an experienced Producing Underwriter to proactively build new agent partnerships and specialty program business involving full commercial line coverages..

• Maintain and develop insurance agency and broker relationships, monitor underwriting results and track production performance for the region.
 
• Actively plan and participate in industry events.
 
• Review renewal policies and new business for eligibility and documentation compliance.
 
• Utilize loss control inspection, loss experience, commercial credit, underwriting filings, and similar reports to determine risk levels.
 
• Serve as point of contact to agents for queries regarding policy, status of new & renewal accounts, and reasoning for rates.
 
• Analyze risks exceeding company's reinsurance treaty capacity and place on facultative reinsurance.
 
• Establish and maintain strong retail producer relationships.

• Work to resolve policyholders and regional producers problems and issues.
 
• Provide support to claims in handling coverage requests
