• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 2-5 years of related insurance experience
• Minimum 5 years of product development or senior underwriting experience preferred
• Experience developing insurance products from inception through launch
• Proven experience creating policy forms, rates, underwriting guidelines, and rating plans
• Knowledge of Excess, Surplus, Commercial Lines, or Specialty Program underwriting
• Experience with insurance compliance, regulatory filings, and underwriting standards
• Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills
• Ability to manage product strategy and development initiatives independently
• Lead the creation, development, launch, and management of a new Educational Organization Casualty Insurance Program
• Develop insurance product strategies, coverage concepts, and program structures
• Create and manage policy forms, rates, underwriting guidelines, and program documentation
• Develop underwriting standards and risk selection strategies for educational organizations including:
Schools
Universities
Learning Centers
Tutoring Services
Related Educational Organizations
• Manage product development initiatives from concept through implementation
• Coordinate regulatory filings, rating plans, compliance requirements, and product approvals
• Support underwriting operations with guidelines, processes, and program enhancements
• Collaborate with internal teams and business partners to improve program performance
