Seeking experienced Underwriter with strong background underwriting Commercial Casualty with emphasis on GL, or Specialty Casualty exposures.
 
Functions:
 
• Lead the interaction and management of assigned MGAs, ensure proper adherence to levels of authority granted, and assess applications above the level of authority. Manage underwriting requirements for binding coverage.
 
• Underwrite and grow a profitable book of business including apartment owners, manufacturers, retail establishments, and distributors.
 
• Maintain administration of programs, visit customers and develop relationships leading to sustainable and profitable business.
 
Qualifications:
 
• 8+ years relevant experience underwriting GL, Property, or Specialty Casualty.
 
• Must be able to provide oversight and authority to MGAs.
