• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 5+ years of multi-line commercial insurance underwriting experience
• Strong underwriting experience with General Liability, Commercial Property/Package, Commercial Auto, Workers' Compensation, and Umbrella coverage
• Experience evaluating complex commercial risks and determining appropriate pricing
• Knowledge of underwriting guidelines, risk assessment, and insurance products
• Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills
• Ability to manage new business and renewal underwriting processes
• Experience working with agents, brokers, and internal insurance teams
• Evaluate insurance risks and accept, modify, or decline submissions based on underwriting guidelines
• Review new business and renewal submissions to determine appropriate coverage, terms, and pricing
• Analyze risk exposures and provide accurate rate quotes for commercial insurance applications
• Underwrite multi-line commercial insurance accounts including:
General Liability
Commercial Property / Package
Commercial Auto
Workers' Compensation
Umbrella Coverage
• Develop new business opportunities through sales, marketing, and agency relationships
• Communicate underwriting decisions, requirements, and strategies with agents and brokers
• Maintain strong relationships with agency partners and support profitable portfolio growth
