Job Summary:
Processes local complaints; initiates and monitors support order requests in other jurisdictions.
Essential Job Functions:
- Complete responsibility for local support filings via eservices
- Conducts initial interviews to determine proper venue, gather required data, and decide the appropriate course of action for each case.
- Prepares all legal documents for the case initiation process for legal complaints.
- Assist plaintiffs by telephone, e-mail, and other written correspondence.
- Office contact for IFSA initiating case
- Ensures all TANF (Temporary Aid to Needy Families) recipients have filed for spousal/child support as required.
- Reviews and processes all agency requests for support (C&Y and Juvenile Probation)
Provides general support to the client services department as needed
Copies pertinent information and forwards it to plaintiffs.
Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
