We are seeking an Intake Coordinator to be the first point of contact for patients entering our care. In this role, you’ll guide patients and families through the admissions process by verifying insurance, completing intake documentation, and coordinating next steps with care teams.
This is a people-focused role for someone who is empathetic, organized, and confident communicating with patients during important moments in their care journey.
Conduct initial patient intake and evaluations
Complete admissions paperwork accurately and efficiently
Verify insurance eligibility and coverage
Answer incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries
Schedule appointments and coordinate admissions
Maintain and manage patient charts and digital records
Perform clerical and administrative support tasks as needed
Strong verbal communication and active listening skills
Excellent customer service and patient-centered mindset
Comfortable using computers and digital systems for documentation and insurance verification
Strong time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple patients at once
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Sales-minded approach — able to build trust, educate patients, and guide patients toward next steps in care
Bilingual (Spanish or other language) is a plus
