Essential Personnel is seeking a dependable and motivated candidate to join a growing production team as an Intake Operator. This position is responsible for loading and unloading liquid tankers, monitoring incoming product, and ensuring production runs operate efficiently. Candidates should be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to communicate effectively while working independently and as part of a team.

Requirements for Machine Operator:

  • Able to work independently and as part of a team

  • Able to maintain accurate documentation

  • Willing to become forklift certified

  • Ability to perform required product testing

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Responsibilities for Machine Operator:

  • Load and unload liquid tankers safely and efficiently

  • Communicate with outgoing operators during shift changes

  • Review previous shift paperwork and follow production schedules

  • Monitor, plan, and track incoming product for production runs

  • Coordinate with department operators to manage silo space and production schedules

  • Collect liquid samples and perform pH, temperature, and NIR testing

  • Report out-of-specification product to the Shift Lead or Supervisor

  • Monitor receiving bays, silos, and equipment for leaks or maintenance issues

  • Trace product lines and track product transfers

  • Maintain production run, CIP, and sanitation documentation

  • Clean and maintain silos, lines, and work areas

  • Follow GMP guidelines and all company safety procedures

  • Monitor silo areas and report deficiencies

  • Operate a company forklift after certification

  • Perform state-required testing

  • Assist with plant audits as needed
