We’re seeking a **Intake Representative Bilingual Spanish Speaking** who is passionate about making a difference and driving impact. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to meaningful work and help shape the future of care in the New York communities. We are hiring an On-Site Intake Representative.  We offer weekly pay between $21.00-$23.00 an hour! Office hours Monday -Friday 8:30am-5:00pm. The office address is: 148 39th St. Suite 19-4-BB Brooklyn, NY 11232.

Responsibilities:

What You'll Do:

  • Receive referrals from referral sources
  • Verify patients’ insurance coverage to determine eligibility
  • Educate patients on available services
  • Assist patients with scheduling assessments required to determine eligibility for care, including NYIA (Maximus)
  • Submit referrals to MLTC plans for potential enrollment
  • Determine services approved by insurance providers
  • Ensure the agency receives authorization for MLTC cases and provide case details to the agency’s HHA Coordination team

Qualifications:

What You'll Bring:

  • Strong communication skills, oral and written.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Intermediate level computer skills, including creating and modifying documents using Microsoft products (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint), HHAexchange,and Salesforce.com.
  • Ability to key quickly and accurately.

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • At least two (2) years of previous experience in Customer Service or telephone sales.

Physical Requirements:

  • Sedentary – ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and clearly with others to exchange information.
