Department Specific Requirements:

Minimum of three (3) years recent triage experience; three (3) years of nursing as charge nurse or hospital supervisor level experience in an acute care hospital highly preferred.
Experience with inpatient staffing, hospital supervisor, bed management and/ or throughput strongly preferred
Active BLS required.

FTE: 0.9 (This will vary)

Shift: Day Shift, Mid Shift, Night Shift (This will vary)

Schedule: 12-hour shifts; Alternating Weekends

Position Summary
The Registered Nurse of Mission Coordination Center is an excellent opportunity for those seeking a meaningful nursing career. This position provides safe and effective access to care, integrates community and systems resources, and determines appropriate levels of patient care.

As an RN at MultiCare you will be able to serve as role model and clinical resource within your practice setting and across the continuum of care.

Responsibilities


You will organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, and evaluating on an ongoing bases
You will engage your critical thinking skills in making decisions regarding patient care, including knowledge and integration of relevant standards, resources, and data
You will utilize the knowledge base of nursing education and experience to deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures, and protocols
Collaborate with the nursing team to facilitate overall improvement in quality of care, patient experience, and cost reduction
Foster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing staff, and members of the health care team
Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds

Requirements


Bachelor's degree in Nursing, or obtained within five (5) years from the initial date of hire; RN with 15+ years of service or internal candidates hired before January 1, 2021 may be considered in satisfaction of this requirement in lieu of an education agreement
Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred
Current Registered Nurse license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS)
Current BLS Certification required
ACLS preferred
Three (3) years recent triage experience or experience prioritizing competing clinical priorities
Three (3) years of nursing at charge nurse or hospital supervisor level experience in an acute care hospital preferred
Previous experience with inpatient staffing, hospital supervisor, bed management and/ or throughput strongly preferred
Experience with Epic strongly preferred

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $54.17 - $88.37 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
