POSITION SUMMARY
Community Energy Project is seeking someone passionate about working with our clients one-on-one to support their entry into the Energy Friendly Homes Program, a PCEF-funded climate resilience program. The Client Intake Specialist will play a critical role in being one of the first program staff a client may interact with, using their time with the client to collect their household and personal demographic information, answer questions about the program, and coordinate next steps for the program including income verification and a home walk through. This position will have the opportunity to connect with many of Portland's diverse residents across multiple languages and backgrounds, and is a great position for organized candidates who love connecting with and supporting individuals in their community.
This is a temporary, short term position from Sept 1st - Dec 18th. The likelihood of continuing and/or growing into a full time position is dependent upon grant funding. CEP currently operates hybrid with an in-person office based in Portland and ability to work remotely, when possible. However, we do anticipate this role attending in-person meetings and hosting in-person office hours and informational sessions regularly throughout the City of Portland.
