Intake Specialist Responsibilities & Duties:
  • Following up and scheduling referrals.
  • Maintain tracking of referral sources.
  • Completing insurance verifications and prior authorizations as necessary (excluding skin subs and UltraMist).
  • Managing charting organization for providers who see patients in other facilities.
  • Cash collection for patient copays and deductibles, ability to set up payment plans in accordance with company policy.
  • Completing administrative tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements: 
  • Ability to self-manage.
  • Proficient with medical terminology and understanding of medical processes.
  • Strong communication and writing skills.
  • Ability to coordinate and interact with all departments- medical, front and back offices.
