Job Overview: The Integrated Media Specialist is responsible for developing and executing our omnichannel paid media and event strategy in support of the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community (SMSC) and its various enterprises and departments. You will analyze competitive trends, consumer insights and unlock key strategic opportunities. The ability to combine creativity and business acumen to elevate the SMSC and our enterprises is critical. You will work with a variety of brands spanning diverse industries and will continuously seek improvements in performance and quality. You will collaborate with a team of talented individuals to increase brand recognition and multimedia traffic, acquire, and retain customers, and help guide our marketing strategy. You will develop and manage a media budget to support goals and allow experimentation and optimization within a goal-driven environment that focuses on creativity, curiosity, and teamwork.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree required in marketing, communications, or related field.
• 5+ years of marketing and/or advertising experience.
• 2+ year of social media experience preferably with working knowledge of Sprout Social, Hootsuite or other social media management platform.
• Strong experience working cross-functionally with multiple internal teams and stakeholders as well as external partners to create concepts and campaigns.
• High level knowledge of digital, print, and radio capabilities while understanding how to digest complex data and analytics to report it in a clear and concise manner.
• Exceptional project management skills with a proven track record in delivering and developing quality, well-conceived and optimized media plans.
• Thrives in a highly collaborative environment, prioritizing and executing tasks and projects in a fast-paced atmosphere, demonstrating a positive attitude and adaptability in responding to change.
• Ability to move fluidly between the 30,000-foot view – operating at the strategic level and ideating – and also at the 3 foot – driving tactics, execution and delivering output.
