    Integrated Preschool Special Education Teacher Green Meadow School | Maynard Public Schools Start Date: August 28, 2026 New Teacher Orientation: August 24 & 25, 2026

    Green Meadow School is seeking a passionate, knowledgeable, and collaborative Integrated Preschool Special Education Teacher to join our early childhood team for the 2026-2027 school year. Our integrated preschool program is built on the principles of how young children learn best. We believe every child can succeed in a nurturing, inclusive environment where play, exploration, and meaningful relationships support learning. The successful candidate will provide high-quality, individualized instruction for children ages 3-5 while fostering a classroom community where every learner can thrive.

    Qualifications Massachusetts DESE licensure in Moderate Disabilities (PreK-8 or appropriate early childhood level) required. Experience working with children ages 3-5. Experience implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) and collaborating with related service providers. Knowledge of child development, early childhood special education best practices, and inclusive instructional strategies. Excellent communication, collaboration, and family partnership skills.

    Responsibilities Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate instruction aligned with preschool learning standards. Create an engaging, inclusive classroom environment that supports the academic, social, emotional, communication, and behavioral development of all students. Develop and implement IEPs while monitoring student progress and maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations. Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, therapists, paraprofessionals, administration, and families to support student success. Use assessment data to inform instruction and differentiate learning experiences to meet individual student needs. Foster positive relationships with children and families through open communication and partnership.
