Location: Remote (U.S.)
Type: W-2 contract, 3 year assignment

About the role
Join an application team for an organization in the energy sector, designing and supporting the integrations that move data between plant, business and enterprise systems. Integration work is done in Azure environments, using integration platforms to build the solutions that keep data flowing.
We’re hiring at junior, mid and senior levels. Scope depends on experience.

What you’ll do

• Design, build and maintain system integrations that connect applications
• Ensure reliable data flow between plant, business and enterprise systems
• Develop and configure integrations within integration platforms
• Complete integration work in Azure environments

What you need

• Experience with integration platforms or middleware
• Familiarity with NextAxiom or a similar integration/orchestration tool
• Working knowledge of integration platforms and experience developing solutions within them
• Experience working in Azure environments to complete integration work
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication skills

For Mid and Senior levels, also:

• Independently design integrations across multiple systems and data sources
• Lead integration workstreams and work directly with stakeholders on complex data flow issues
• Guide and mentor junior team members

Preferred background

• Commercial nuclear power plant operations experience, ideally with accountability to NERC and FERC requirements
• Or experience at a regulated utility or heavy-industrial company

Nice to have

• Azure integration services such as Logic Apps, Service Bus, Azure Functions, API Management or Data Factory
• Other integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi or Informatica
• IBM Maximo Integration Framework (MIF)
• SQL Server and SSIS
• REST and SOAP APIs, JSON and XML data mapping
• Plant data systems such as historians (e.g., OSIsoft PI) or OT/IT data integration

Experience levels

• Junior (0–4 years): builds and supports assigned integrations with general guidance
• Mid (4–8 years): designs and delivers integrations independently and may lead a workstream
• Senior (8+ years): sets integration approach for complex systems, advises stakeholders and mentors others

Work environment

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and use stairs
• Travel: 0–5%
