PAY RATE: $50.00-85.00/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

• Writes and executes test plans for system integration and testing activities.

• Installs and configures software components for test environments.

• Coordinates with software developers, technical leads, and stakeholders to identify and troubleshoot system issues.

• Documents, tracks, and reports defects found during testing.

• Performs Windows and Linux cross-platform test execution.

• Tests micro-service architectures for system integration.

• Validates databases using PostgreSQL and performs basic SQL queries.

• Performs frontend testing of web user interfaces.

• Installs and configures software in virtualized environments.

• Uses VMWare for virtualized environment testing and configuration.

Requirements:

• Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.

• 10+ years in systems integration or test engineering, preferably within a defense or aerospace environment.

• Experience with Windows and Linux cross-platform test execution.

• Experience testing micro-service architectures.

• Experience with database validation using PostgreSQL and basic knowledge of SQL.

• Experience with frontend testing of web user interfaces.

• Preferred: CompTIA Security+ certification.

• Preferred: Experience with US Navy training systems and processes.

• Preferred: Experience with Agile workflows using Jira and Confluence.
