Job Summary
Serve as an
Integration Architect SME responsible for designing, governing, and implementing enterprise integration architectures connecting Pega applications with internal and external systems. Define scalable, secure, and reliable integration patterns, APIs, services, data flows, and interfaces while ensuring interoperability, performance, security, and compliance across the enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities- Design and govern enterprise integration architecture, APIs, services, interfaces, and data flows.
- Develop integration solutions using REST/SOAP, APIs, messaging, event-driven, batch, and database integration patterns.
- Design, implement, and maintain messaging and event-driven architectures using Confluent Kafka and/or Amazon Managed Streaming for Apache Kafka (MSK) to support scalable, reliable, and secure data streaming.
- Integrate Pega applications with enterprise applications, databases, cloud platforms, and third-party systems.
- Define reusable integration patterns, standards, security controls, and architecture principles.
- Analyze complex integration requirements and recommend scalable and cost-effective solutions.
- Collaborate with Pega LSAs, Solution Architects, developers, infrastructure, cybersecurity, business stakeholders, and vendors.
- Conduct integration design reviews and provide technical guidance on performance, scalability, availability, and security.
- Support integration testing, deployment, production troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Evaluate existing interfaces and identify opportunities for modernization, simplification, automation, and reuse.
- Ensure integration solutions comply with applicable enterprise, security, privacy, and Federal standards.
- Prepare integration architecture documentation, interface specifications, technical assessments, and executive briefings.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise integration, solution architecture, software architecture, or a related technical discipline.
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing enterprise integration architectures and APIs.
- Strong experience with REST/SOAP, APIs, messaging, event-driven architectures, and data integration patterns.
- Demonstrated experience with Confluent Kafka and/or Amazon Managed Streaming for Apache Kafka (MSK) and enterprise data streaming architectures.
- Experience integrating Pega applications with enterprise applications, databases, cloud platforms, and third-party systems is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of integration security, authentication, authorization, encryption, performance, scalability, and availability.
- Experience developing reusable integration patterns, architecture standards, interface specifications, and technical documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to work with Pega LSAs, Solution Architects, developers, infrastructure, cybersecurity, business stakeholders, and vendors.
- Experience supporting integration testing, deployment, production troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, technical documentation, and communication skills.
- Experience working in Federal Government or highly regulated environments is preferred.
Compensation:
The expected compensation range for this position is $130,000 - $180,000 annually. Compensation is determined in good faith and may vary based on job-related factors, including relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, clearance level, labor category alignment, contract requirements, work location, internal equity, and business needs.
The posted range reflects the Sky's reasonable estimate at the time of posting and does not guarantee a specific salary or rate. Final compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate's qualifications and applicable contractual and business considerations.
