Integration Consultant (Python/React)

This consultant will join a newly launched integration project connecting SAP Concur and SAP Ariba with surrounding enterprise systems, UIs and databases. Although the role is a backfill, the project itself is new, so the whole team will be starting on it together.

Most of the team's work involves integrations with Concur and Ariba, and this project follows the same pattern. The work is primarily focused on U.S. operations, with some interaction with Canadian global resources.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain integrations between SAP Concur, SAP Ariba, ERP systems and internal applications.
• Develop back-end integration logic and services in Python.
• Build and enhance front-end interfaces in React.
• Consume and expose web services using both SOAP and REST APIs.
• Write and optimize SQL queries and work with relational databases that support integration data flows.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues across connected systems.
• Collaborate daily with a team of about eight developers and analysts.
• Communicate findings, progress and risks clearly to team leads and management.

Required qualifications

• 5 7 years of professional software development or integration experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python for building integrations and services.
• Strong hands-on experience with React for front-end development.
• Solid understanding of web services, with practical experience using SOAP and REST APIs.
• Experience working with SQL databases (writing queries, data mapping, troubleshooting).
• General knowledge of ERP systems and how they exchange data with other applications (no specific platform required).

Preferred qualifications

• Configuration or integration experience with SAP Concur and/or SAP Ariba.

Concur and Ariba knowledge is a strong plus but not required: candidates who are strong in Python and integration builds will be trained on these platforms. Even high-level familiarity with Concur and Ariba is valuable.
