Position Summary

The Integration Data Analyst is a key member of the Onboarding & Integration team, responsible for supporting the successful transition of newly onboarded Focus offices onto core operating platforms and integration processes. This provides critical data analysis, validation, reconciliation, reporting, and operational coordination in support of performance, billing, and related system conversion activities. With a strong emphasis on accuracy, consistency, and issue resolution, the Data Analyst helps ensure reliable data outcomes and smooth experience for internal stakeholders and newly integrated offices.

Working closely with the Managing Director, Onboarding & Integration, Integration Directors, Advisors, Managers, and cross-functional partners, this position supports integration planning, tracks progress against key milestones, prepares clear status reporting, and helps identify risks or gaps that may affect execution. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong analytical judgment, ownership, attention to detail, and professionalism, while building trusted relationships across teams and contributing to a disciplined, collaborative integration process.

We would like for this person to work onsite 3 days/week in our St. Louis office. However, we are open to having someone work Remote if they meet all the qualifications.

Primary Responsibilities 

  • Partner with the Onboarding & Integration team to support the successful execution of system integration plans for acquired Focus offices.
  • Coordinate and support day-to-day integration activities related to Orion and other operational systems used throughout acquisition, onboarding, and conversion efforts.
  • Perform detailed comparisons between legacy systems and Orion to validate account performance, billing, and related operational data.
  • Collect, analyze, reconcile, and document data from multiple source systems to support accurate, complete, and reliable information within master systems.
  • Identify data discrepancies, assess potential impacts, escalate issues as appropriate, and help coordinate timely resolution with internal teams and external partners.
  • Prepare status updates, reporting materials, documentation, and planning resources that provide clear visibility to Operations and Integration leadership.
  • Assist with onboarding and training for operations functions at new Focus offices, including Orion-related support for Client Service associates as needed.
  • Develop and deliver presentations, training materials, and Advisor Development content related to operations, systems, data, and integration topics as needed.
  • Maintain strong working knowledge of Focus tools, systems, processes, custodial relationships, and operating standards to support consistent integration execution.
  • Contribute to special projects and perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Team Leader.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, data analytics, operations, information systems, or a related field; equivalent relevant professional experience may be considered.
  • Strong client service orientation with the ability to support internal and external stakeholders with professionalism, responsiveness, and sound judgment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with the ability to analyze, reconcile, summarize, and present complex data clearly.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess data discrepancies, identify root causes, and recommend practical next steps.
  • High standards for accuracy, timeliness, follow-through, documentation, and overall quality of work.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Five or more years of experience in investment operations, client service, compliance, data analysis, systems integration, or a related field.
  • Three or more years of Focus experience preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency with Orion Advisor Services, including performance, billing, account data, and related operational workflows.
  • Experience using client relationship management systems, workflow tools, and collaborative project management environments.
  • Working knowledge of custodial platforms, account administration, and related investment operations processes.

  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, including the ability to translate data and operational topics into clear, practical messaging.

 

This position is an exempt position. The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $55,000-$65,000. Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant's skill set.  The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.  Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package
