Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Integration SME to lead the design and standardization of integrations across warehouse automation and manufacturing systems. This role focuses on creating scalable integration architectures that enable seamless communication between warehouse software, enterprise applications, and industrial automation platforms in highly automated warehouse and distribution environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design end-to-end integration architecture across WMS, WES, WCS, SAP, MES, ASRS, AMR/AGV, robotics, conveyors, and other automation platforms.
Define real-time, event-driven communication models for inventory movement, task execution, equipment coordination, and workflow orchestration.
Develop standardized APIs, messaging frameworks, interface specifications, and integration governance models.
Establish architecture standards for data synchronization, API management, system monitoring, and error handling.
Assess current-state warehouse and automation environments, identify integration gaps, and recommend future-state architecture.
Lead architecture workshops and collaborate with business stakeholders, solution architects, IT teams, and automation vendors to deliver scalable integration solutions.
Required Skills
Strong experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Warehouse Execution Systems (WES), and Warehouse Control Systems (WCS).
Hands-on experience with SAP ECC WM and/or SAP EWM.
Expertise integrating warehouse automation technologies, including ASRS, AMR/AGV fleets, robotics, conveyor systems, and material handling equipment.
Experience with REST APIs, Kafka, Message Queues, and event-driven integration architectures.
Strong background in Solution Architecture, Enterprise Integration Architecture, API design, process orchestration, and real-time systems.
Excellent stakeholder communication and architecture leadership skills.
Preferred Experience
Experience in highly automated manufacturing, logistics, distribution, or warehouse environments.
Background working on large-scale warehouse automation or industrial automation transformation projects.
Experience collaborating with automation vendors and cross-functional business and technology teams.
