Overview: As an Integration Specialist focusing on POS Hardware Set Up, you will play a vital role in managing complex, multi-vendor configuration projects. Your primary responsibility will be the preparation, setup, configuration, testing, and packaging of retail-related technical devices for in-store applications, supporting major rollouts or upgrades.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to detailed specifications for setting up, configuring, and testing customer-purchased equipment.
- Handle a variety of equipment types, including Pin Pads, PEDs, and other peripheral devices, for configuration and testing.
- Unbox and stage new or returned devices by detaching necessary power and data cables as per client instructions.
- Boot devices for testing, make setting adjustments, and troubleshoot according to customer guidance.
- Re-box and label devices as needed, ensuring they are ready for transport to designated areas.
- Assist with injecting security codes (key injection) into retail devices within a secured environment.
- Provide backup support for the RMA process, refurbishing, shipping, and system updates.
- Maintain quality control, accuracy, and safety standards consistently.
- Ensure regular and predictable attendance, contributing to team success.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent is required; relevant experience may substitute educational requirements.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Proficiency in handling and positioning devices weighing up to 25 pounds from ground to waist level.
- Exceptional multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and adapt to changing workloads with minimal supervision.
- Self-motivated, accountable, and dependable with strong communication skills to convey ideas clearly and concisely.
- Commitment to delivering quality customer service and the ability to interact with diverse personalities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with MS Dynamics – Solomon is an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment, initiative, and analytical skills.
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English effectively.
Preferred Knowledge and Skills:
- Familiarity with warehouse and production equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies.
- Basic technical understanding, including operating system software knowledge.
