Position Title: Integration Tech. Analyst-6 Location: Remote Duration: Long Term Contract
Job description:
The Technical Analyst will work closely with the Product Team, Business Analysts, and Application IT teams to support the design and implementation of integration solutions. This role is responsible for understanding functional requirements, participating in technical discussions around integration data flows, and assisting in the creation of technical specifications. The ideal candidate will have foundational knowledge of API schemas, integration protocols, and cloud technologies, along with strong communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications:
1–3 years of experience in a technical analyst, integration specialist, or related IT role.
Basic understanding of integration protocols and data formats: File, SOAP, REST APIs.
Exposure to synchronous, asynchronous (event-driven), and batch-style integrations.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality technical documentation.
Required Skills:
Familiarity with AWS resources such as S3, Redis, API Gateway, MSK (Managed Streaming for Kafka), etc., is a plus.
Awareness of security standards and protocols, including OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and encryption methodologies.
Experience with or willingness to learn performance-testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Postman).
Interest in observability and monitoring stacks (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
Preferred Qualifications:
Exposure to enterprise integration projects is a plus.
AWS certification or equivalent cloud experience is a plus.
Role and responsibilities:
Collaborate with Product, Business Analysis, and Application IT teams to gather and clarify functional requirements.
Participate in technical discussions related to integration data flows and architecture.
Analyze and interpret application API schemas and specifications (REST, SOAP, File-based) with guidance from senior team members.
Assist in authoring technical mapping documents and integration specifications.
Help triage and resolve integration defects and issues under supervision.
Support adherence to integration security standards and best practices.
Contribute to performance testing and observability initiatives.
