This isnt about turning the same bolt every day; its about building the systems to build the rocket. With a manifest and a launch date, its up to the team to deliver on Terran R: solving challenges in real time, optimizing for scale, and constantly improving processes. This is a 1st shift position with a standard schedule of 5:00AM-3:30PM PT, Monday through Friday. Please note that this position is structured around a baseline expectation of a 50-hour workweek, which may include occasional overtime as needed to meet operational goals.
About the Role:
The Integration technician role will play a critical role in ensuring that various components and systems of flight hardware are assembled, tested, and installed with the highest quality. The role requires a combination of technical skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of aerospace processes. Ability to operate in a fast-paced manufacturing environment to successfully build and install flight hardware. Collaborate with the production team, integration engineers, and quality team to build, develop, and document job operations. Primary area of focus will be assembly, install, and testing of flight hardware through development and production of Terran R.
About You:
2+ years of aerospace mechanical experience or related field Experience working in a fast-paced production environment handling flight hardware and performing critical operations Possess a wide range of technical skills including but not limited to: • Fastener/torque applications • Secondary retention • Testing • Avionics familiarity • Bonding operations Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written) with engineering and production Ability to set up and operate a wide range of hand and pneumatic tools along with calibrated tools and measuring devices Must be able to climb ladders and be comfortable working in tight spaces
Nice to haves but not required: • FAA Airframe and Power Plant license • Electromechanical build proficiency • Familiarity with propulsion systems and components
