We pride ourselves on being a lion-hearted partner, designing, building, and flying the most capable and intelligent aerial systems that give our servicemen an unfair advantage wherever they fly.Position SummaryGriffon Aerospace is seeking a mid-career Integration Technician to join our team in Madison, Alabama. This role will support both prototype development and production efforts for cutting-edge UAV electronics systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in electronic testing, prototyping, and assembly at both the circuit board and system levels, with a background in either aerospace/defense industry or military electronics.Primary ResponsibilitiesTest, troubleshoot, and validate electronic assemblies and embedded systems used in unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs)Build and assemble prototype electronics including circuit boards, wire harnesses, and system-level assembliesPerform quality inspections and functional testing of electronic components and assemblies to ensure they meet specificationsSupport engineering development activities by assembling and testing prototype hardwareCollaborate with electrical engineers to identify and resolve issues during testing and productionUtilize standard electronic test equipment including oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, and soldering equipmentDocument test results, assembly procedures, and technical findingsSupport both engineering prototype builds and production manufacturing effortsMaintain clean and organized work areas in compliance with safety and quality standardsAssist with rework and repair of electronic assemblies as neededRequired Qualifications3-7 years of experience in electronics testing, assembly, and troubleshootingExperience working with circuit boards and system-level electronic assembliesPrior experience in aerospace, defense industry, or military electronics (technical military occupational specialty)Working knowledge and understanding of IPC standards including J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, and IPC-A-620Proficiency with standard electronic test equipment: oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, and soldering equipmentAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructionsStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipAbility to work both independently and as part of a collaborative teamMust be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR regulations and able to access ITAR and CUI (Controlled Unclassified Information)Ability to work in both engineering development and production manufacturing environmentsPreferred QualificationsIPC J-STD-001 (Soldering) certificationIPC-A-610 (Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies) certificationIPC-A-620 (Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies) certificationExperience with UAV or embedded systems electronicsExperience with avionics or flight control systemsFamiliarity with military specifications and standardsPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift and handle electronic assemblies and equipmentCapable of performing detailed work requiring manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordinationAbility to work at a bench or workstation for extended periodsWork EnvironmentFull-time, on-site position in Madison, AlabamaWork will be performed in both engineering laboratory and production manufacturing environmentsStandard business hours with occasional flexibility required to meet project deadlinesTravel is not anticipated as a regular requirementCompensation and BenefitsCompetitive payComprehensive benefits packageOpportunity to work on cutting-edge UAV technologyDynamic, fast-growing aerospace and defense industry environmentCareer advancement opportunities within a growing companyUS CITIZENSHIP REQUIREDYesABILITY TO OBTAIN SECURITY CLEARANCEYes
