Job Title: Integration Engineer Location-Type: Hybrid, 2-3 days onsite, Charlotte, NC 28217 Start Date: ASAP Duration: Contract-to-Hire, 6 months Compensation Range: $65-70/hr W2 Benefits: Eligible for Health, Dental, Vision, and 401K Visa Sponsorship: Not eligible for visa sponsorship Job Description: The client is seeking an experienced Integration Engineer to bring integration ownership in-house, replacing vendor-controlled systems with a reliable, internally managed integration layer that supports an active ERP, FSM, and eStore rollout initiative. Job Summary Own and manage integrations across ERP, field service, payment, and eStore systems, ensuring reliable intersystem connectivity Build and modernize REST and event-driven APIs and middleware to replace existing vendor-controlled integrations Design and maintain ETL pipelines and data movement workflows supporting active migration and transformation efforts Implement data validation, deduplication, and transaction integrity controls across integrated systems Monitor integration health, configure alerting, and resolve failures to maintain operational reliability Contribute to net-new integration builds supporting ongoing eStore and vendor inventory sync initiatives Mentor and support junior team members, helping elevate overall integration capability within a small collaborative team Minimum Requirements: 5-10 years of overall experience with 1-2 years of direct integration ownership experience Demonstrated expertise in API development and integration, including REST and event-driven system patterns Experience designing or maintaining ETL pipelines and data movement solutions Strong database mindset with the ability to understand and work directly with underlying data structures Experience working within the Microsoft technology ecosystem for integration and API development Comfortable operating in migration and transformation environments, with a hands-on, builder mentality Preferred Qualifications: Experience with ERP platforms, particularly Microsoft or Oracle-based enterprise-scale systems Familiarity with Acumatica ERP Azure database or AWS cloud exposure Experience supporting ERP rollout or FSM implementation efforts Background in inventory management or eCommerce integration
