Description
Our client is seeking a highly proficient Spanish-language Intelligence Linguist to support mission-critical intelligence operations. This role involves providing advanced translation, transcription, and interpretation services that enable informed decision-making within classified environments. Core Responsibilities:
Linguistic Support: Provide accurate simultaneous and consecutive interpretation during real-time operational engagements, briefings, and debriefings.
Exploitation & Analysis: Translate and transcribe foreign-language materials, including legal, technical, military, and scientific documents. Extract actionable intelligence to support CI/HUMINT, SIGINT, and OSINT missions.
Quality Assurance: Conduct bilingual text comparisons and review translations to ensure high standards of accuracy and reliability.
Operational Collaboration: Support intelligence reporting workflows and maintain effective working relationships with operators and analysts in high-tempo environments.
Key Requirements:
Clearance: Active Secret security clearance.
Language Proficiency (ILR Scale):
Spanish: 4+/4+ or higher.
English: 3+/3+ or higher.
Operational Experience:
Experience supporting CI, HUMINT, SIGINT, OSINT, or related intelligence operations.
Experience with MEDEX, CELLEX, or DOMEX exploitation activities.
Skills: Strong analytical and critical-thinking capabilities with a demonstrated ability to produce accurate, mission-ready intelligence products.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting DoD, Intelligence Community, or federal law enforcement missions.
Previous operational or deployed intelligence experience.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Performance Expectations (First 90 120 Days)
Integration: Complete all security and mission-specific onboarding.
Operational Competency: Demonstrate proficiency in intelligence-specific translation and interpretation, meeting all established quality and timeliness standards.
Production: Independently produce mission-ready language products and actionable intelligence reports with minimal revisions.
Reliability: Successfully perform simultaneous/consecutive interpretation and adhere to all program-specific production and responsiveness metrics.
