    Job Objective: Provide Intensive Family Based Services to children, youth and families who are at risk of entering state custody or who are working to reunify.  

    Qualifications:
    •    Bachelor's Degree in human services or related field, OR
    •    Associate’s Degree in human services or related field with four (4) years of relevant experience, OR 
    •    High School diploma or equivalent with minimum eight (8) years of relevant experience
    •    Two (2) years of experience at Easterseals, or in the human services field, preferred
    •    Previous supervisory or leadership experience, strongly preferred
    •    CANS certification, or the ability to obtain certification within three (3) months, required
    •    Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
     

    Essential Responsibilities:
    1.    Ensure IFBS Coordinators are providing intensive, short term interventions in the home and community to referred children, families and youth.
    2.    Track referrals to adhere to the 13 week program timeframe and tracking/ revising waitlists as necessary.
    3.    Sign Plans of Care and assist with CANS assessments as needed and review all other documentation regularly. 
    4.    Assign referrals and have consistent communication with DCF-FSD.
    5.    Take referrals/ have a minimal caseload as needed to comply with contract obligations and support staff.
    6.    Maintain CANS certification.
    7.    Support ongoing training and utilization of Motivational Interviewing practices in all referrals. 
    8.    Attend monthly IFBS provider meetings, and any additional trainings necessary to adhere to the current contract.  

    Compensation: Starting $24.46 per hour.


    Hours: This is a full-time, 40 hour/week position. M-F, flexible schedule with some early mornings and later evenings
