Make a lasting impact. Grow your career. Join a mission-driven team.
For more than a century, The Village has been a leader in supporting children and families across Greater Hartford. As one of the first agencies in the nation to provide homes for neglected children, we’ve evolved into a comprehensive provider of behavioral health, early childhood, youth development, and substance use services. Our mission is simple and powerful: to build a community of strong, healthy families who protect and nurture children.
We are proud to be recognized as a Connecticut Top Workplace for six consecutive years, with national honors for our culture and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. When you join The Village, you join a team that invests in your success as much as the success of the families we serve.

Why You’ll Love Working Here:
About the Role
If you’re energized by helping families build stability, resilience, and independence—and you’re excited by the idea of providing therapy in nontraditional, community-based settings—this role is a great fit.
As a Clinician in our IICAPS (Intensive In-Home Child & Adolescent Psychiatric Services) program, you’ll work with children at risk of psychiatric hospitalization and their families. You’ll provide therapy and support directly in the home, school, and community, building meaningful relationships and helping families strengthen their functioning in real time.
This is an excellent opportunity for new graduates or early-career clinicians. We provide robust training, a team-based model, and ongoing supervision to help you grow into a confident, skilled practitioner.
