Intensive Outpatient Program Coordinator/SupervisorLocation: 241 Greenhouse Road, Lexington, VA Employer: Rockbridge Area Community Services (RACS)Position Overview: The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) Coordinator/Supervisor coordinates daily program activities and supervises IOP staff to ensure participants receive effective, person-centered, trauma-informed, and recovery-oriented care. This position plays a key role in supporting program operations, fostering a collaborative treatment environment, and ensuring services are delivered in accordance with agency and regulatory requirements. In addition to oversight responsibilities, the IOP Coordinator/Supervisor maintains an active clinical role by conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing individual and group counseling services for adults experiencing substance use disorders. Working closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team, this position helps participants build skills, achieve recovery goals, and maintain engagement in treatment. The successful candidate will be a Licensed Mental Health Professional (LPC, LCSW, LCP, LPP, or LMFT) with at least two years of experience working with adults experiencing substance use disorders and a commitment to supporting individuals on their recovery journey.Qualifications & RequirementsMaster's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, human services, or a related behavioral health field requiredLicensed Mental Health Professional (LPC, LCSW, LCP, LPP, LMFT) requiredAt least two years of experience working with adults experiencing substance use disorders requiredPrior supervisory experience is strongly preferredValid Virginia Driver's License required Preferred Skills & Experience:Thorough knowledge of substance use disorder treatment principles, co-occurring disorders, relapse prevention, and ASAM criteriaWorking knowledge of behavioral health documentation, and service authorization expectationsStrong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills; ability to analyze operational and clinical dataAbility to build effective working relationships across disciplines, programs, and community partnersProficiency in electronic health records and Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment while maintaining a calm and professional approachWhy Join RACS?At RACS, you will have the opportunity to make a direct and lasting impact on individuals and families in your community.
