We provide quality resources in four specialty areas: Information Technology (IT), Clinical Research, Rehabilitation Therapy and Nursing.Job DescriptionThe Senior Information Designer creates high quality user experiences for the Ally Channel team. This thought leader will collaborate with clients and UX team members to develop compelling interaction designs for the Ally brand across touch devices, websites, user interfaces, application and digital marketing. Successful Information Designers are innovative, have a bold vision for excellence, and enjoy working with a team that inspires commitment. He/she should be well versed in all topics related to user experience strategy, interface design, user-centered design, information architecture, interaction design and usability. Areas of focus include: defining/representing the customer and stakeholder needs, tasks, and goals –including translating goals into site functionality, site architecture, navigation, interaction and data flow.Primary ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with project teams to define strategy, as well as site architecture and navigationIterate in creative sketch sessions with UX and clients—taking wires from low fidelity to high fidelityDevelop use case scenarios, flow diagrams, site maps, wireframes, high-level functional specifications, task analyses based on personas and research, and integrating these into product designWork closely with usability engineering, visual design, content, product marketing and product development to create the user experience that meets customer objectives and business goalsAssist with user research plan and stakeholder interviews to understand requirements, negotiating change for the sake of the ultimate user experience when necessaryManage multiple projects and competing prioritiesEnsure existing Ally UX style guide and standards are applied or considered for all conceptsProvide consultation to 3rd for storefront, authenticated and application propertiesRequirementsBachelor's Degree (or equivalent work experience) plus 3-5 years' experience as an Information Architect or Interaction DesignerPrefer background in digital agency, retail, automotive industry, financial services institution, or large ecommerce siteExperience managing client relationships and complex deliverablesHighly skilled at wireframe creation and effective documentationExperience using Axure or similar interaction design tool for prototype development and requirements documentationPrefer experience with tablet, hand held touch design patterns and emerging technologiesStrong understanding of responsive design as well as touch design best practicesMust be articulate and inspire commitment to a higher standardExcellent written communication and presentation skillsProven ability to balance business needs with customer experienceEducation level:Required: Bachelor Degree, Masters preferred or equivalent experience with increasing responsibility party designers and developers and lead creative collaboration sessionsDegree: Information Architecture, Usability, Communication, or related major field of study: Information Science, Cognitive Psychology, Computer Science, Human Factors, Industrial Design, Web Design or Visual Arts. Communications and Business Psychology
