Position Summary:
The Interactive Host is responsible for providing guests with an energetic and informative welcome. The Interactive Host should be knowledgeable of the attraction and enjoy talking to people.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Takes initiative to welcome guests into the building.
Provide detailed information on what the attraction is and what guests should expect.
Welcome and assist guests who look curious, regardless of if they are directly asking.
Ensures guests have information needed to persuade them to purchase tickets.
Assists guests with all ride requirements, including height.
Provides direction to guests when entering the attraction.
Prepares riders by verifying entrance times on pre-purchased tickets.
Interacts with all guests entering and exiting the attraction.
Cross train and work other departments as needed.
Other duties, as assigned.
Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements:
Must be customer service oriented.
Must have a positive attitude and high energy level.
Able to stand for extended periods.
Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Able to lift items up to 30 pounds.
Able to bend, twist, push, pull, stoop, and reach.
Education & Experience Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
