Interim Accounts Payable Specialist

We are currently seeking candidates for an Interim Accounts Payable Specialist role with a growing organization located in Burlington, MA. The Interim Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for supporting the Accounts Payable function and assisting the accounting team with day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience and experience working within Oracle Cloud ERP.

This is a 3+ month contract position paying between $50-$60/hour (depending on experience).

This role supports a hybrid work model, consisting of 1-2 days on-site per week in Burlington, MA. Candidates must be able to work onsite in 1-2 days per week in Burlington, MA.

Responsibilities:
  • Support daily Accounts Payable operations.
  • Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently.
  • Assist with invoice review and payment processing activities.
  • Research and resolve Accounts Payable discrepancies and inquiries.
  • Perform account reconciliations and maintain accurate records.
  • Support month-end accounting activities and reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the timely resolution of outstanding items.
  • Assist with process improvement initiatives and special projects as needed.
  • Manage multiple priorities while meeting established deadlines.
  • Provide additional support as needed.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience.
  • Experience using Oracle Cloud ERP is strongly preferred.
  • Experience working in a high-volume Accounts Payable environment.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
  • Ability to quickly adapt in a fast-paced environment.
