Accounts Receivable Manager

LHH is partnering with a growing organization near Fridley, MN to hire an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager for a contract opportunity. This role is ideal for a hands-on AR professional who enjoys leading a small team and having high visibility to leadership.

Compensation: $48.12-56.73/hr DOE

About the Role

The Accounts Receivable Manager will oversee daily receivables activities, manage collections, and ensure accurate cash application and reporting. This position combines leadership with hands-on responsibility and plays a key role in maintaining strong cash flow and customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full accounts receivable lifecycle, including billing, cash application, and collections
  • Review aging reports and follow up on past-due balances to improve DSO
  • Resolve billing discrepancies and customer account issues
  • Ensure accurate posting of payments, credits, and adjustments
  • Partner with internal teams to resolve receivable-related concerns
  • Prepare AR reports and provide updates to leadership
  • Support month-end close activities related to receivables
  • Assist with process improvements and internal controls

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive accounts receivable experience including leadership or supervisory experience
  • Strong understanding of full cycle AR including billing, collections, and cash application
  • Proficiency in Excel and large ERP/accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, etc)
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous PE-backed company experience highly preferred
