INTERIM ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENT FOR PERSONNEL AND BUSINESS
QUALIFICATIONS:
A. Education: The Assistant Superintendent for Personnel and Business shall
have earned a Masters Degree with an Educational Specialist
Degree or equivalent preferred.
B. Certification: State of Indiana Administrative License required with a
State of Indiana Superintendents License preferred.
C. Experience: The Assistant Superintendent for Personnel and Business must
have a minimum of three (3) years successful experience in public
school administration including two consecutive years in one system. This experience is in addition to successful teaching experience in public schools.
The Assistant Superintendent for Personnel shall have knowledge
in the area of business services, computer technology, personnel,
and curriculum.
Prefer previous experience at the central office level with district
responsibilities.
REPORTS TO: Superintendent of Schools
SALARY RANGE: daily per diem rate for 190 days
CONTRACTED DAYS: 190
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
A. Personnel
Evaluates K-12 Coordinator of Physical Education/Athletics.
Conducts and supervises all aspects of staff recruitment.
Coordinates and supervises all aspects of staff employment.
Conducts and supervises aspects of termination of employment.
Supervises salary and fringe benefits programs.
Maintains and annually reviews a current program of evaluation for
all staff.
Time Reports.
B. Labor Relations

Administers the contract.
Responsible for meeting all responsibilities with regard to P.L. 217
C. Computer Technology and Application
conjunction with the Director of Special Services.
D. Public Relations

E. Curriculum and Instruction
