Interim Cancer Center Director Needed in Farmington, New Mexico!
The Position
- An Interim Cancer Center Director is needed to provide operational and clinical leadership for a comprehensive cancer center while improving patient safety, workflow efficiency, and team culture.
- This position will report to the Vice President of the Cancer Center.
- Key responsibilities include implementing improved processes to enhance patient safety and operational efficiency. Additionally, this leader will help strengthen the clinic's culture by establishing clear expectations, fostering accountability, improving communication, and building a more collaborative, high-performing team.
- The ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading cancer center operations with a strong background as a radiation therapist. They will bring strong clinical and operational expertise, communicate effectively with staff and providers, and foster a culture of accountability. Must be highly organized, patient-focused, and able to adapt quickly to changing needs. Excellent communication skills will be critical.
- Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred.
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required.
- Minimum of five years of leadership experience in a radiation oncology manager or supervisory role.

Compensation Details
- Compensation Range: $170,000 to $180,000 annually.
- The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.
