INTERIM Social Worker Case manager

Join a mission-driven, community-based healthcare organization as an Interim Case Manager: Behavioral Health. In this role, you will provide critical support and intervention services to help patients and their families manage the complex social and behavioral factors that may affect treatment or recovery. You will collaborate closely with the care team to ensure high-quality, cost-effective care that meets both organizational goals and regulatory requirements. This position reports directly to the Supervisor of Social Work.

Interim details:

• Basic knowledge of computers is required.
• Able to work remotely, required.
• 3-month Interim assignment, to start. 
• Must be a current resident of California, required.
• Start date: August 2025

Position Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Social Worker, required.
• 3+ years of experience as a social worker in a health care setting.
• Current Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) License, Marriage, and Family Therapist (MFT) License, or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) issued by the California State Board of Behavioral Science Examiners
• Working knowledge or experience with Medi-Cal or other government sponsored programs strongly preferred.
• Basic knowledge of the principles, practices and regulatory requirements of managed care is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local laws, rules and regulations associated with mental health treatment and education programs

Salary: $55.00 Per/hour
