Our client is seeking an experienced Interim Controller to provide financial leadership and support during a transitional period. This role offers the opportunity to oversee accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and help drive process improvements within a growing organization.

Key Responsibilities - Interim Controller

Oversee day-to-day accounting and financial operations
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Manage month-end and year-end close processes
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements
Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting activities
Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to leadership
Support audits and coordinate with external auditors as needed
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy

Qualifications - Interim Controller

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
Significant accounting and financial management experience, including Controller-level responsibilities
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
Experience managing month-end close, budgeting, and forecasting processes
Advanced proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information to leadership
CPA designation preferred but not required
Ability to quickly adapt, assess financial operations, and make an immediate impact in an interim capacity
