Interim Controller

Interim Controller Consultant needed in the DFW area. This role is to step in immediately and stabilize the accounting function across a multi-entity, multi-brand environment. The primary focus is owning close and reporting, and secondarily building structure, standardizing processes, and improving visibility across the business.

Attributes:

• Previous experience in a multi-entity / multi-location environment is required
• Private equity-backed or high-growth environment experience is a strong plus
• Experience with consolidations and intercompany accounting is needed
• Hands-on Controller-level leadership experience (permanent or contract) is required
• Strong ownership of month-end close, financial reporting, and balance sheet integrity
• Experience partnering with operations on margin, job costing, and profitability is a plus
• Exposure to improving processes, reporting consistency, and building structure in a decentralized environment
• Month-end close ownership, consolidations, intercompany, financial reporting, reconciliations, and process improvement are core to the role
• This individual will also help bring visibility into cost drivers, margins, and AR / DSO performance while supporting a lean accounting team.

This opportunity is onsite 4–5 days per week in the DFW area. The ideal candidate is comfortable stepping into a fast-paced, evolving environment and driving immediate impact. Compensation will depend on experience and fit, ranging from approximately $70/hr to $85/hr +.
