Interim Controller - Non-Profit

Non-profit organization located near Mid-Wilshire is looking for an Interim Controller (potential contract-to-hire basis) on a hybrid schedule. While overseeing and leading a small team, the Interim Controller will have a hands-on role in managing the day-to-day accounting functions of the organization. Duties for the Interim Controller include overseeing the month / quarter / year-end closing, cash flow reporting and management (A/P, A/R), preparation of consolidated financial statements, and oversight of grant/fund reporting and compliance. The Interim Controller will also manage various audits, lead the fiscal budget and financial reporting process, and assist with regulatory compliance.

• Qualified candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• 8+ years of accounting & finance experience is required.
• At least two years in management/Controller capacity.
• Extensive non-profit industry experience is required.
• Must have strong GAAP/technical accounting knowledge.
• Excellent systems experience is needed. Blackbaud Financial Edge is preferred.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills are also required.
• $75 - 85/hr.
