Interim ED Nurse Manager Needed in Reading, Pennsylvania!

The Position

• An Interim ED Nurse Manager is needed to provide leadership and operational oversight for a 29-bed Emergency Department.
• Reports to the Director of Emergency Services.
• Key responsibilities include building a strong leadership foundation, strengthening accountability, supporting staff education and readiness for the upcoming Epic implementation, and helping team members better understand the purpose behind clinical and operational practices.
• The ideal candidate will be a collaborative and approachable leader with strong emotional intelligence who can build trust, develop relationships, and create accountability while maintaining a supportive leadership style. This leader should be comfortable having difficult conversations, setting clear expectations, and balancing empathy with firmness when needed.
• Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree required.
• Active RN license required.
• Emergency Department nursing leadership experience and Epic experience required.

Compensation Details

• Compensation Range: $150,000 to $160,000 annually.
• The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.
• The listed base compensation range represents a good faith estimate of potential earnings at the time of this job posting and may be subject to future adjustments.
