Interim ER Leader Needed in Deming, New Mexico!

The Position

  • An Interim ER Leader is needed to provide operational and clinical leadership for the Emergency Department.
  • Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, this leader will oversee a team of approximately 19 FTEs.
  • Key responsibilities include overseeing daily Emergency Department operations, ensuring regulatory compliance and quality standards, managing staffing and scheduling, supporting clinical excellence, participating in Nursing Administration on-call coverage, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.
  • The ideal candidate will have the demonstrated ability to lead under pressure, assess patient care needs across the lifespan, and maintain department standards with minimal supervision. Must be highly organized, patient-focused, and able to adapt quickly to changing needs. Excellent communication skills will be critical.
  • Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Active New Mexico RN license required.
  • Minimum of five years of RN experience, including two years in critical care and two years in a leadership role.

Compensation Details

  • Compensation Range: $150,000 to $165,000 annually.
  • The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.
  • The listed base compensation range represents a good faith estimate of potential earnings at the time of this job posting and may be subject to future adjustments.
