Klickitat Valley Health is a Critical Access Hospital committed to providing high quality care while staying deeply connected to its community.
Surgical Services Overview:
General Surgery, Orthopedics, Podiatry, and Pain Management
Approximately 400 endoscopy cases annually
Primarily outpatient surgical environment
Collaborative and close knit clinical teams
This is a hospital where leaders are visible, decisions are thoughtful, and teamwork matters.
Oversee perioperative services across the full continuum of care
Support surgery clinic operations alongside OR leadership
Ensure efficient scheduling and optimal use of staff and resources
Partner with surgeons, anesthesia, and clinical teams
Maintain regulatory compliance, quality, and patient safety standards
Lead and support staff across pre op, OR, PACU, and sterile processing
Use data and analytics to improve workflow and performance
Step in as a hands on leader when needed
Strong perioperative leadership experience across the surgical continuum
Experience in rural or Critical Access Hospital settings preferred
Background supporting both OR and clinic operations
Knowledge of regulatory requirements, billing, and coding
Ability to lead through change with clarity and confidence
Strong communication and team leadership skills
Qualifications for the role include:
Registered Nurse required
Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Minimum ten years of nursing experience with at least five years in the operating room
Leadership experience in a surgical services environment
