Interim Quality & Patient Safety Program Manager (RN Preferred) – Hollister, CA

13-Week Contract | Earn Up to $3,200/Week Based on Experience

Connected Health Care, a leading healthcare recruitment and staffing firm, is partnering with a respected healthcare organization in Hollister, California to hire an experienced Interim Quality & Patient Safety Program Manager. Position Responsibilities

  • Lead the hospital's Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) Program
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate quality improvement initiatives across the hospital, clinics, skilled nursing facilities, and ambulatory surgery center
  • Analyze quality, patient safety, and performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Develop and implement evidence-based process improvement projects
  • Prepare and present quality and patient safety reports to hospital leadership
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing leadership, and interdisciplinary teams to improve clinical outcomes
  • Investigate adverse events, near misses, and patient safety concerns while implementing corrective action plans
  • Promote regulatory compliance and adherence to quality standards
  • Provide education and guidance on quality improvement methodologies and patient safety initiatives
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and accountability throughout the organization

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Medicine, or a related healthcare field required
  • Master's Degree preferred
  • Current California RN License preferred (or 1–3 years of related clinical experience)
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of acute care hospital quality management experience required
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • QAPI
    • Risk Management
    • Peer Review
    • Incident Reporting
    • OPPE/FPPE
    • Regulatory compliance
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and healthcare quality reporting systems
  • CPHQ, CPPS, Lean, or Six Sigma certifications are preferred
