Interim Senior Accountant

Interim Senior Accountant Consultant needed in the DFW area. This role is to step in immediately and provide support to a high-growth, private equity-backed, multi-entity environment. The primary focus is owning key components of the month-end close and financial reporting, and secondarily supporting audit readiness, improving processes, and bringing structure and accuracy to the accounting function.

Attributes:

• Previous experience in a multi-entity / multi-location environment is preferred
• Private equity-backed or high-growth environment experience is a strong plus
• Strong experience with month-end close, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations is required
• Solid understanding of GAAP and financial statement preparation
• Experience supporting external audits and audit readiness is needed
• Exposure to financial reporting, variance analysis, and partnering with FP&A is a plus
• Hands-on experience improving processes, reporting accuracy, and internal controls
• Month-end close support, reconciliations, financial reporting, audit support, and process improvement are core to the role

This individual will help improve reporting accuracy, support balance sheet integrity, and provide additional bandwidth to a lean accounting team during a period of growth

This opportunity is onsite 3–5 days per week in the DFW area. The ideal candidate is comfortable stepping into a fast-paced environment and making an immediate impact. Compensation will depend on experience and fit, ranging from approximately $45/hr to $50/hr +.
