Duration: 3–6+ Month Contract (Potential Extension)
Compensation: $32/hr-$38/hr
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Interim Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations during a transitional period. This role will assist with month-end close, reconciliations, and general ledger activities while ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.

Prepare and post journal entries
Perform monthly balance sheet account reconciliations
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed
Maintain and reconcile the general ledger
Assist with financial statement preparation
Support audit requests and documentation
Identify process improvement opportunities
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
2+ years of accounting experience (public or corporate)
Strong understanding of GAAP
Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar preferred)
Advanced Excel skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
